The Classic island is 720 m wide and 240 m deep, with 17 ziplines, 5 jump pads, 3 jump towers, 14 loot bins, 23 explosive barrels and 116 spots where loot can appear.
What changes every match
The island itself. Lighthouse Point always holds the west end and Red Mesas the east end. Between them the game picks two to five of the other locations, depending on how many players there are, shuffles their order and joins them with new stretches of terrain, so neighbours and rotations change from match to match. A card shows the new island before the match. Practice mode can also play the Classic island shown above.
The dropship flies a different line each time, so the locations you can reach change too. One location along that line is marked HOT: the loot lying on its floors is a tier better. The warm-up spot never repeats twice in a row, and the first ring is shown on the map before you jump.
Lighthouse Point
The western tip of the island: a lighthouse on a cliff above the sea, with sea caves cut into the rock below it. The tower gives a long view east, and the caves are a quiet place to land and loot.

Rustport
A harbour of stacked shipping containers, a dockside crane and a warehouse, with an inner basin under the pier. Containers make short, messy fights; the crane and warehouse roof are the high ground.

Millbrook
The old town: multi-storey houses with basements, joined underground by a sewer network. One shaft comes up through a trapdoor in a house floor. Expect close fights room to room.

Mount Strata
The highest point of the island, with an observatory on the peak and ziplines running down both sides. Inside the mountain are a mine, a great cavern and, deepest of all, a vault with high-tier loot.

Strata Dam
A concrete dam with galleries inside it and a control house on the crest. A bridge crosses the canyon to the refinery plateau, and its deck is a one-way slab you can jet up through from the river below.

Refinery
Scaffold towers, catwalks, storage tanks and pipes, with a pipeline tunnel underneath. Lots of levels to jet between, and lots of metal to hide behind.

Red Mesas
The eastern edge: two red sandstone mesas with a cave cut into the rock, a zipline between the mesa tops and jump pads to get you up there. The valley between them stays open to the sky.
